HOSPITAL PROFILE

China hospital profiles: specialties, named experts and evidence you can check

By China Heal Plus · Updated

Which Chinese hospital is worth looking at for your particular medical question? This series connects hospital names to departments, named specialists and research that an English-speaking reader can verify. Start with the relevant specialty, then read the individual profile.

Start with the specialty, not just the hospital name

The first three profiles cover different clinical interests: rheumatology and endocrine disease in Beijing, liver cancer and cardiovascular medicine in Shanghai, and gastrointestinal cancer and nasopharyngeal cancer in Guangzhou. These are selected areas with identifiable sources, rather than complete lists of each hospital’s capabilities.

What each profile helps you understand

Each article explains the institution’s identity, selected departments, the documented focus of named experts and a research or professional contribution. Sources identify what comes from the institution itself and what can be checked in a journal record. Older figures keep their original date.

A useful next question is whether a particular specialist’s experience fits the diagnosis or decision already under review. A well-known name alone does not answer that question.

From background information to a written review

If you have an existing diagnosis or proposed treatment plan, describe the question you want another specialist to examine. China Heal Plus focuses on coordinating written second opinions: we check relevant specialist options, provider acceptance, required records, language support and the written scope before payment.

These profiles describe publicly documented expertise. They do not establish an appointment, a hospital partnership or acceptance of an overseas case. Any proposed reviewer and service arrangements are confirmed separately.
